    Default Tablerock info

Years ago I used to fish out of old 86 ramp at night. At that time some of the other ramps had a curfew due to the parties. Is old 86 still usable and free?

Looks like maybe 5 bucks now?

Little Rock District > Missions > Recreation > Lakes > Table Rock Lake > Recreation Activities

On the link you can click the drop down for 86

Thanks Bill. A lot has changed since 1990. It’s now a COE campground like Bucksaw.

Hey Jeff we have camped at Old 86 a couple of times. It is one of the nicer COE parks we have ever been too. Also, it is extremely hard to find vacancies.

I forgot to add this to my post earlier - if you plan on crappie fishing on Table Rock and you launch at old 86 I would definitely head south on the lake down into the Long Creek/cricketed creek areas. Usually that part of the lake tends to get a little more color and not as clear.

your pass will be good there and what RLCrappie said, Lake is a LOT busier there these days, 7 days a week with the development at Big Cedar and Long Creek (now Johnny World not COE) rarely go below Shell Knob between Memorial Day and Labor day... choose the tranquility of LOZ during the week.

Yea I only fished at night. I could put in at dark and fish all night. Knew the area I never even needed to use a Q-beam.
