Default Hey all, long time no see

Haven't been around here much in several years. Not been fishing hardly at all since taking on a new project, it's been very time consuming, but thinking about getting back to fishing a little bit. I've got a grandson old enough now to go with me so I feel like I need to add a couple more days a week. Just can't figure out how to do that exactly.

7 years, that's some project! Inquiring minds want to know?

Your new project is teaching the grandson how to crappie fish!

Cattle. Well, not so much the cattle as the farm maintenance. It's a full time job.

That's not so bad, except I already had/have one of those, and the fishing had to take a back seat.

Grandson is the reason I didn't just go ahead and sell the boat. He will be 8 in a few months.

I remember when I was a kid. My Dad and Grandpa taught me how to work, hunt and fish, which I am grateful for that. But as a kid, I didn't think we fished near enough. lol

I hope to incorporate enough fishing to keep him interested in working with me so those lessons can be taught to him as well.

I'm telling you as a grandfather, You make a day or two for him and you will be fulfilled ten fold over what you did not get done on the farm. Get'er dun son. That boy will be so happy.

Every morning ask him if he wants to go fishing. You will get lots of time on the water. I really enjoy taking mine.
