Got er done the hard way today!
Dad and I went back to the same spot today. We tipped jig heads with minnows this time and caught some monsters.
The bit was hot early but slowly declined before completely shutting off mid afternoon.
We came up a little short of our limits, but the bucket was HEAVY - and I didn't find any weights!
Pulled in a 14 incher and several 12-13 and even some fat 10's.
We coulda got er done if we had a scope, but this was the best day of just single pole, no cheatin, "fishin" I've captain'd yet.
I can't wait till riggin season, I'm tired and still have another day of itTakin the girls tomorrow.
