    So rare MDC doesn’t publish anything about a golden crappie.

    I read about 1 several months back. Came out of a pond it was yellow as could be.

    That's better! That article had SO MUCH wrong with it! It was a MAN holding a regular ol' white crappie that was NOWHERE NEAR 2#!!

    Plus it's "elusive", not "illusive"!!

    I know it was released which is cool and I release 99% of the crappie I catch but if I catch one like this one I'd have it mounted so others could see this beautiful and rare fish. They could have a replica made.
