    Default Our Truman Fall Camp


    Joedog, Clownfish and myself came down to camp at Bucksaw Thursday night. We fought the wind Friday and the wind won! We did manage 10, lost a few and had a few pigs. Sorry they were filets before I remembered to get a photo. All fish pretty much just off the bottom in about 11 fow.
    We’ll give it a go again today with less wind.

    wind was fierce out there and being in a boat makes it even worse. GFY guys and glad you ketched a few. You need to sort out your priorities, Pics come first!

    Be safe out there as high winds on Truman can be deadly.

    Today stunk for us. One is the loneliest number.
    Kevin showing how many I caught but Joe and him caught less!

    It was our first Fall camp so we need learn the bite we do ok at Spring camp normally.

    Bill came out on top today, had most fish and biggest fish, all with one fish. Joe and I battled it out for skunkmaster champs. The fish didn't cooperate with us this weekend, but still a great time with good friends.

    We decided Kevin should have all the filets, he forgot and left them in the RV but he decided to donate a stinky par of tennis shoes and left them in the RV also.

    I need two things, his conservation number and a EPA permit for the shoes!

    boy you started well but then not finding them at the last was a bummer. but again that's fishing. Know you all had a lot of fun anyway and lots of laughs and giving each other the bidness.
