    Default It’s been a while

Well, i finally got the boat ready and spent some time at the lake. Went up from Bucksaw Wednesday with a pharmacy friend on Wednesday and back with Richard on Thursday. It took a while to find the fish cause we started too deep. Spent 3 hours looking for fish in 10-15 FOW with only 2 fish to show for it. Moved to another spot and caught a keeper in 5.8 feet on the first drop. Spent the next 2 hours showing Daryl how to dip in shallow water. Ended up with 14 keepers all in 4.0 to 7.5 FOW. We used 1/16 Oz jigs tipped with minnows. Didn’t matter what you did there was only one bite per tree but most were keepers to up to 13 inches. Went back today with Richard. Similar depth but you had to let it soak for a while. Today the bite was lighter but you might get 3-5 bites on one tree in the wind would let you stay in one place. We had 16 today but Richard has the fish. I’m sure he will post later.

Lovin' the new rig! Looks good on you!

Liking those steps going up, too. Now you just need a handrail and you'll be SET!!

    Congrats on figuring it out!
