    Default Livescope question

If you pole mount your livescope transducer, do you "see" the trolling motor and shaft when you pan about? If so, is it an issue?

nah, you will likely want to get the pole mount lower than the bottom of the boat to swing it 360* which pretty much takes care of that and the outboard. if it did show up, it would be brief and not a big deal. its probably only blocking the top foot of the water column in a narrow beam at best

If you pole mount it and you swing your transducer toward your trolling motor, you will get interference. Like Husker said, it's brief.

Thanks all. I am replacing my home made pole mount with a SEELITE brand mount. I think it's going to be pretty good once I get it adapted to my particular mounting situation.

LS comes with the angled transducer , for pole mount you might want to get the flat one.
