yoo hoo you did well, I really like catfish chunks.
Went Friday evening Windy & Cold, good thing I had the rain suit in the boat to keep the wife warm. Caught a few out deeper and noting on banks. Found a deeper brushpile loaded with fish but could only really manage a small bass off of it, tons of follows.
Went back yesterday and took some minnows to same brushpile and still had tons of follows but not many strikes and again caught a bass, maybe they were all bass but doubtful because there were literally hundreds. Unlike the day before couldn't catch anything out deep but the wind was even worse and our of the North which at Smithville is a pain.
Ran North to get out of the Wind and Nope no hiding with that wind. I did manage to catch a few nice crappie all over 10" and several short or light taps right on the banks. Ended up with I think 3 bass, 6 crappie and Joedog will be happy CATFISHBILL was in the house!
I think the fish are more confused than me if that's possible? The surface water temp about a week and a half ago was 69, three days later in the 80's and yesterday back to barley 70.
Anyone else been up?

Nice job on catching some! I didn't make it out this weekend, weather looking better next week, might help.
Crazy Lake.
I think it's like that almost every where. Hot one day gone the next. Glad you got out thanks for posting.
