Not an answer to the question, but info. I've been fishing the Osage arm and haven't caught a male with any color yet this year. Water temp Friday was only 53-54 degrees
Any of you local boys know how the fishing has been around bucksaw? Are they coming shallow yet?
Taking the old lady down there this coming weekend. Any info would be appreciated

Can't answer your question because I haven't been to Truman since last year, but according to facebook Richard Bowling ( Guide ) has been tearing them up ( but then he always does ) Now Looking at the weather for this weekend, It's suppose to be 76 Thursday, 85 Friday, 81 Saturday ( Rain Showers ) and 64 Sunday (Rain Showers ) which should be good for fishing this weekend. I think your going to do just fine. Fishing is better than working anyday!!!! Have a Great trip !

I was down there late last week. Fish were 10-14 feet deep over 20-30' of water. Water temp was 55. Bite was decent.

can't go by King Richard as he gets it done EVERYDAY no matter what the conditions. Mongo took me with him couple years ago day after a TORNADO struck area and temp dropped 30 degrees and we STILL killed them with him. But it is cool to see the pics of the biguns his clients get.
I was out in the Sparrowfoot area and fish were scattered all over by themselves or 2 together. They were skittish to the point I would throw my jig 5 feet away from them and bring it back and they'd run off. If my trolling motor turned on to correct my spotlock, off they ran. Water depth was 7-8 with fish hanging in the 5-7 range. Depending where you fish from Bucksaw, the conditions are similar if you head west. I'll ask my buddy who only fishes out of Bucksaw and report back. I did see small groups of dinks in the 10-12 FOW along the creek channel, but I didn't fish them, the wind was horrible, the rain was horrible and well it was just another day in the mid-west!
Spontaneously fished the river straight south of bucksaw instead today. I think it's the Osage? Anyway, caught mostly all females scattered in the trees in 12-20 fow. Several people were beating the banks in the area so I think we're gonna try catching some males near bucksaw in the morning.
Finished the day with 29 keepers
