I am curious as up here in the Nort country we usually use wood for the fact it starts to break down some and algae starts to grow on them which attracts the smaller fish etc. Will plastic PVC do this?

The Corp received grant money for them and placed them. Some Conservation employees helped with placement along with some volunteers and the Corp. They produce but aren't holding fish right now because they aren't in deep enough water. Crappie are mostly 20-30 foot deep right now on Mark Twain.

imagine some of them are exposed with the lake being down somewhat. will be interesting this spring as that's where my guys who live there put in and fish.

Shouldn’t be anything exposed at the depth they were placed.
