Default Trout fishing while waiting to pick up grandson's

Had some time till picking up older grandson in stl city charter school so why not hit one of stocked parks in city? Only fished for half hour or so but this big un smashed a spoon and it was fun. Hooked another but duck was on top of line so thought it was himself didn't set hook thus time and it hot off. Shame saw it and another good one. Oh well.

Fileted it and made great healthy meal for the wife.Name: 20211108_165539.jpg

Pan seared trout is delicious. Thanks for sharing your adventure.
