    Default Truman 10/06

Late start hitting the water at 8:20. Fished a few trees starting at 18 FOW and a few more in 14 FOW. My oldest Blake hammered 5 keepers in about 20 minutes. I put one on the deck 5 minutes in. I landed a 2nd keeper around 11am. From 10 to 12 they just shut down. We put 25 dinks in the boat in the first hour and BAM it slowed way down. Barometric pressure jumped from 29.02 to 29.30 in that time. Great few hours with my son who was smiling all morning. He out fished his dad and was grinning ear to ear. Don't tell him I put the back of the boat over the good trees. Truman 10/06

I should add, he hasn't been on my boat since July of 2020. It was nice that he was up for the trip. He even helped me replace the old lights on the trailer for an LED upgrade. I have great kids, I wish they were into fishing as much as I am. :p

That is my hope, but they are nothing like their Pop. Probably like anyone 45 and over, we died when we had to stay inside. They die if I make them go outside.

I've loved fishing as long as I can remember.

I am 47 soon as the dew was off the grass I was outside. Didn't making it back in until 8pm. We didn't have video games. They made them then but I sure didn't have one. Better off for it
