Good report and pictures
plan was to meet up with nephew at the lake on Thursday 9/23 late in the afternoon to pull some crankbaits with the hopes of putting a few in the freezer . well it did not take long for us to find the species of choice sitting in the deeper water , so rods went out and baits were run from 50' - 75' with boat running at a 1.9 mph into the wind and they started coming over the rail ended up with a nice 2 man limit
went back Saturday 9/24 around the noon hour and found some more fish in the same area so we repeated the process with the same results
out early Sunday 9/25 and it was more of the same from 7 am to noon with a 1 man limit for nephew ( 30 from previous days kept me from keeping any)
Good report and pictures

Looks like I need to put the cranks back in the boat. Congrats and thanks for posting. How is the knee healing up?
WTG Curt....I'd have thought it was too late in the year for cranks, but...glad you got into 'em!
isn't limit 45 fish total?
great few days for sure Curt! you really have the pontoon crank pulling down. Need to get with you sometime and learn how you do it

Good job on catching some nice ones!
If we did what was most important in life there
would be a shortage of Bibles.................and fishing poles
