Thread: Next day dawned COLD!

went hunting again nailed one as soon as I got out but then had a shell jam in and as it's. 22/410 I was out of bidness with squirrels all around me! Finally found a straight enough green stick to knock it out but by then back at car so tried couple other places where we deer hunt and this partly scouting. No good shots so time to go fishing.

Caught 5 quickly then bite slowed so went to cabin to clean up and get ready to head home as had favorite niece from Utah was coming for dinner.

After getting things ready found I had 45 minutes to spare so since 5 minutes from lake went back. Fishing from bank at t hill I had good bite working brush along rip rap and got 9 in short order including 1 almost 13. Had time to clean them and head out.

Another good trip to the mound!

that pic is later when I cleaned them and it warmed up. early on had shirt AND sweatshirt on.
