Default Did a little trolling with cranks and bottom bouncers on Stockton

Headed over to a spot where we had caught them before and gave it a whirl. Must have caught 30-40 fish but only 7 keeps. Was a blast even had a walleye boatside till I failled to net him or her. Gave it just a little slack and it was history. Most of the fish came off spinner rigs that I tie myself and instead of a bare hook tie on a floating jig head. Sure have sore hands but the good times are worth it.Name: thumbnail_IMG_0684.jpg

Looks like some nice crappie. Did you catch any of the crappie on the bottom bouncers? I know you caught some gills if you had night crawlers on for those walleye.

Spinner rigs like a Lindy Rig with floating jig heads? Might have to try that. I tie plenty of Lindy Rigs and those pill-shaped colored floats. But haven't done anything with the floating jig heads yet. I think I have a few ol' floating jig heads laying around that I haven't gotten around to using. Might have to track those down to try it? Pics, please, if you got one?

Well took awhile but I am slow. And yes Mark if you slow it down when trolling the bluegills will wear you out. I tie these myself and not one of them is just like the other but close and pink has been the winner this year. Hope this helps.Name: thumbnail_IMG_0699.jpg
