Default Tough couple of days on Truman

One evening and one morning on the lake fishing from 18 FOW to 30 FOW and fishing was tough! We decked 50 dinks in total, 7 nice keepers, 3 fat catfish and one Large Mouth Bass. We tried jigging trees, rigging flats, ridges, creeks and where ever I could find and the keeps were just not active. I really want to try pulling cranks one of these days. I love being out on the water and 7 keepers will feed the 3 of us. No complaints, just fishing!

BTW Friday evening was not such a good idea with all the boat traffic. I thought my bed was rocking most of the night afterwards. LoL Foot on the floor took the rolling motion away.

I did get a few things sorted on the boat.

    1. Finished cleaning up after a mouse made a home in my boat. No droppings left and no urine smell blasting me in the face when O open the lockers.

    2. Cleaned the spilt Dr. Pepper and a few spots of minnow guts.

    3. Finally took the plunge and cut my trolling motor shaft down. Measured once, twice and five more times. Decided I was good and proceeded. 18" underwater and 6" to spare.

    4. Time with my Co-angler Amy. She wanted pictures of the bad fish that ate my crappie minnows. Tough couple of days on TrumanTough couple of days on TrumanTough couple of days on TrumanName: IMG_9710.jpg

Minn Kota really needs a 90* cord that comes out of the head. Because it pushes that coil straight down, it wants to wind itself tight around the base in spotlock mode.
