One of the cool things about the roadrunner is its versatility. Pitch and swim. Vertical jig. Longline. Underneath a bobber. Or just cast-n-retrieve.

Plus, they make lovely decorations dangling from the upper limbs of tree branches!

    Road Runners find crappie.
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.

Y'know how certain baits or methods are only effective certain times of the year?

The roadrunner is effective year round. This one here was caught in December (on my birthday, actually!) dippin a brushpile on Watkins Mill.

The only thing I don't like about a road runner is losing them in brush.
