A gun, like any other source of power, is a force for either good or evil, being neither in itself, but dependent upon those who possess it

Joe, Do you live up that way? Amy lives just south of Smithville and I want to haul the boat up and fish it one day. Not sure if I'm ready to search a new lake for crappie. LoL

If you haul it up in the next few week it shouldn't be hard. Stay between the bridges and hit the banks or just off. If you go under either bridge lots of trees if you don't know how to run it go slow.
Be ready for
STICKER SHOCK!
It costs $17 to launch your boat at the Clay County Parks ramps at Smithville Lake. That includes the $6 daily vehicle fee and the $11 daily ramp fee.
But heck bring your horse trailer, park and ride your horse all day for FREE!!!!!

Yes I know. I went for a walk and was blown away at the $5 parking fee. I get it, many parks are like that in CA.
