    Default Truman Camp Fishing Report


    Joe and I had just had 4 days straight of very good fishing. First night rain in the forecast but we went out for about an hour and caught more than a dozen but were not keeping so really didn’t keep track. The next 3 days limited out each day. Fish were very shallow on chunk rock. So shallow they must have been facing the bank because the jig would hit the rocks and as soon as it touched the edged of the water hammer the jig. All fish caught on jigs from 0 to 3 FOW. Man it was fun and some nice big fish. The two small ones Joe is holding in the one pic are almost 10 inches to show the size difference.

    And of course the difference in size from what he caught and I caught!

    Dang it makes me miss being there even more knowing they were dead up on the banks! but missed the meals and getting to see everyone more.
