    Default Ketchn time again!

My son was tired if fishing on t hill and only ketchn one toad so he announced he wanted to go ketchn. We hit the dock and quickly it was on! Fortunately or unfortunately we caught more big crappie than the ones we could keep as had to release over 11. Caught several bigger bass and couple owner wanted me to keep. Big smile on sons face made it great bonding day. Nothing like having sons crew up for weekend. Mass quantities of crappie were consumed along with FF. SUPPLIED neighbors with most of rest or had boys take home.Name: 20210425_123951.jpg

Nice fish, the water certainly looks different than what I'm used to seeing. Are they treating the lake to control algae?

yes he does and is treating another section to increase size of pond and amazing how quickly it cleared up after dozing work and downpour filled it up. cool thing is it functions as a great swimming hole as well. Now my son has a Goal in life to have his own place in country and own pond to ketch crappie in.
