    Default Trolling Weight Molds

Does anyone have any DIY molds that they've built to pour "Pushing Weights" for use in front of cranks? Looking for a proven way to build some molds for those types of weights. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Welcome to the board. ScottV on the Mississippi board actually pours 3 and 4 ounce trolling weights that are rigged up and ready to go. A lot of us use them for pushing crank baits and they work great

I saw these weights online when looking around for them. I'll likely order a bunch of them in prep for this year. Would eventually like to make my own pattern to pour them as I have a good source of lead that I can use. Thanks for the link!

Maybe we can figure something out, I have a mold and you have lead?

Makes sense to me! Where you located at? I’m a traveling salesman so I’m pretty much behind the wheel of my Silverado most of the time. I’m sure I could find a way to get you a good amount of lead. I’m sure we can work something out that’s good for all!

I use pencil weights I make from a Do-It mold.

Do you just bore a hole in them or imbed a swivel of some sort?
