Default many and short was Stockton Lake

Went to check on the boat yesterday, hey what the heck, cold, windy, cloudy, looked like a perfect day to catch some big ole crappie..... As waylon jennings would say, Wrong... lots of little crappie, and I mean a lot. 1 keeper, dang fingers were sore from tossing back the short crappie. oh well better times coming

Sure seems to be a lot of short crappie this year at Stockton. When we fished in October we must have caught a hundred of 9 1/2 fish. Hopefully they will grow over the winter.

You swore that this time would be different?
You had it all figured out?
You wouldn't make the same mistakes?
You knew what crappie fishin' was all about?

    Wrong!
