Mike, I think ripinlips and I will be down for a while Thursday to the slack water. I think I still have your phone number. I will call you or pm you with what we find.

I ended up fishing the slack water from 8-4 on Thursday. Fun time but the fishing was pretty slow. I had 22 fish on my counter when done and most were 9 inch crappie with a few white bass. All fish released. I also caught a couple cats and some trash fish. Crappie were suspended 15-20 ft and whites came off the bottom. It seemed they liked a plain, small minnow over a jig tipped with minnow. Thanks for the info from the group.
