Default Handful of bass and on the job with MDC

Launched at 2mm LOZ and threw a jerkbait all day. The action was super slow and I was not impressed with the hot foot warmers. I was about to leave when I saw a live racoon hanging upside down from a tree limb. At first I thought he was just tangled in a limb line but upon closer look it had two whopper plopper treble hooks deep in it's feet. I didn't have my gun (another reason to pack some heat) so I called water/highway patrol who had a conservation agent call me. Only way to get a shot was by water bc it was hanging off a bluff. The agent couldn't get a boat out there until the next day and I said I just can't leave it like that; so he agreed to meet up and use my boat. The racoon was put out of it's misery and I was very appreciative of an MDC Agent who went out of his way.Name: 20210108_141333.jpg

It was left cliffside. I would of throw it in my truck bed and maybe salvage the lure but I was in a rush to pick my son up from after school care and didn't think about it. Hope something doesn't try to eat that racoon and get hooks in it's face. Hell then we'd be back to where I startedHandful of bass and on the job with MDC
