Default Adventures of Jeff and I

The day started off like any other 19° morning. I tried to sink Jeff's boat. "There are those who have forgotten the plug and those who will forget the plug." I started the launch process and failed to plug the boat.

The fishing according to Jeff was slow, but we had a couple Chinese Fire drills. We tossed a bunch of dinks back, hooked into a good sized largemouth. We also put 11 keepers in the live well. I confident it would have been many more, but I had a Doctors appointment.

Thank you Jeff for a fun day and more tutelage in the fine art of spider rigging. I learned some valuable techniques on this trip. "The red rod has one on. Look at your line its swimming away from us." The rod tip hadn't even moved yet. HiVis line is in my future, if I can find it. UGHName: 20201214_194207.jpg

Any further north @ 19 degrees and you would be setting up the ice shanty! Nice to get out on the water in December whether hard or soft water and nice looking crappie
    Nope, not a hockey player!

I would think that you wouldn't find anyone who has not done this plug mistake. Good job, I'm afraid I might have missed that Dr. appt. unless it was life or death.

Glad to hear no one got soaked. Jeff is very good at finding right sided fish. But every now and again just reach over him and grab his pole with the fish and he will then put a couple of left sided fish on the boat.

Jeff is the man, has taught many of us to rig and dip, he is so good to share his knowledge. A good friend to have, darn good guy.

I typically don't go to the doctor unless it's causing me issues. Well this one causes me issues with holding the steering wheel. If I want to get to and from the lake and to and from the spots I fish... I needed to keep this appoinment. Nerve damage SUCKS!

Jeff always has a chair to share and to teach you a thing or two and some good stories to boot. Looks like a good quick morning anyway. Good on both of you.
