Here in the Nort Wisconsin total possession counts what is at your residence.

if you think about it 60 fish is 120 filets and that's a bunch to use or give away. I give away majority of what I ketch as know a lot of folks who love it and don't get out anymore. course that allows me to go ketchn again! think most of us do that on here.

I do that with one exception I only keep 45 total at home, that way I can catch 15 on a trip and bring home or give away on the way home, the wife and I each put our name on the filet bags and where caught, pond at house, or lake. just in case .
