    Default LOZ 11/5

I don’t think I have ever fished for crappie in November until today. Made the trip over to take advantage of the nice day. Ended up with 11 keepers and one close to 14”. All were over 10. Caught 25-30 shorts. Most came off docks in 20 FOW or less and back in the coves. The larger schools were spread out up and down the entire water column. Electric chicken, monkey milk, patriot and blue ice all caught fish. They wanted the bait swimming and wouldn’t hit it moving vertical very often. Going to make an ice dinner tomorrow night. I will actually get to go out this weekend... usually am not able to do anything this time of year. When you say docks, are you shooting docks or just fishing around them? And in the back of coves, are you just casting around? Thanks in advance... hoping to get a few in some grease tomorrow night!

Lol. My thumbs don’t work so well and my eyes don’t see so well after a couple drinks. They were yummy, nothing fancy. I mixed Andy’s red and yellow 50/50 and fry.

Some of my best days of year are deer season November then December or January. Biggest fish as well.
