Question Two Questions about water temps

At about what water temp due the crappie start to follow the shad up the creeks and into the coves?

At about what water temp do the lakes start to turn over?

I cant answer the first one but the turn over is when the warm deep water rises and the cold surface water sinks. The earth is 50 some degrees, and the deep water is somewhere around that temp. So the surface temp usually drops below that mark and "turns over".
But seems like in the spring it can turn over too, but the physics don't make sense. Maybe it's from the cold spring rains.

In my neck of the woods its around 50 to 55 degrees. Cooler water is more dense than warm deep water so it sinks and creates mixing. As far as the spring turnover. In clean water the sun can get to the floor, the debris will warm faster than the water and start to float to the surface. In the fall leaves on the surface loose oxygen within them and sink. In the spring if the leaves can get some sun they start the decay process and draw in enough oxygen to float them with the aid of rising temp. We don't always get clean water in the spring due to rain and run off so the process is less and does not turn over. Sorry this got so long winded but this info is just a fraction of what happens.
