Default Cool Temps and lower water temps

I'm thinking of running down to Truman tomorrow. Any pointers for this cold front pushing in? I don't know about 41°, but In love fishing when I'm not working!

As in they will bite down on the bait and not let go?

it was tough fishing right after the cold front blew thru earlier this week but still fun to get out and after them. uneverknow how it will go but one thing for sure, can't ketchm if you don't have a line in the water.

Bait will move into coves with cooler water. Don't be afraid of checking in 8ft of water or less. Killed them up there one year in first week of October dipping trees in 6 - 8 ft of water.

I would suggest fishing smaller baits and slow. See a high pressure system puts higher physical pressure on the fish. It shrinks the gas bladder, more pressure on the eyes which are sensitive and makes them very lethargic. It is a whole science thing but it just shuts them down till they adjust.

I thought about coves. I decided on the slack water and down river about a mile from Warsaw. 10 fish on the deck and zero keepers. I did catch my first Walleye today.
