Default Quick trip to the Ville

Dropped the boat in and headed out, noticed it was running a little rough, thought maybe gave it a little too much choke ( old 2 cycle ). Went to go plane out and no go, ducked into a cove, checked the motor out, nothing obvious, so limped back and put it back on the trailer. Got home checked it out found #2 coil was dead, ordered another coil 50 bucks not too bad, but not going to be here soon enough. So, I didn't catch any fish, but I never got a line wet, technically not a skunk right?

Ya know I never find much comfort when people say it to me...but I gotta it say now.
At least you are able to take care of the problem

Really though, any day you don't gotta swim back to the dock is great day on water.

Noticed the last couple times out the motor didn't seem to be running very well, but could not figure out what the problem was. Made it a little easier to find when it completely quit.

Worked as a mech for 10 years and a intermittent problem is the worst. Sometimes you just have to wait til it shows its ugly head and quits. Glad you got lucky this time.
