    Default Black Fishing Line

I recently bought some 8x Black braid fishing line and haven’t tried it out yet.

I have zero clue if it will be good or not but my curiosity got the best of me.

Anyone have any luck or experience with black fishing line??

Only reason I use yellow is so I can see it better! That's why I don't use black, it should work fine!

Black fishing line was some of the first fishing line I ever used, back when I was a kid. There was also a multi-colored line. Best I can remember, people were catching plenty of fish using either one. I doubt fish are any more "intelligent" today, because if they were they wouldn't be biting on the many different colors of our current lines.

Used black fire line when it first came out and was only choice. Bass fished with it and never noticed any issues with them being shy of it.

Back in the early 60s our little town hardware had 2 line choices. white and black. Some kind of braid for the level wind reels we had.

Should be fine. Tough to line watch though.
