Hey all, what do you keep your registration in while you are in the boat? The "pocket card" portion that is supposed to be on you at all times. I don't want another thing to carry in my wallet and it needs to be waterproof anyway. Growing up I know grandad always had a cylinder with a cone top that hung from a small chain attached to the motor, but I would like something a little more substantial for lack of a better word. What do you guys do?

I use a clear waterproof box you can buy from the sporting goods section at Walmart for around $10. Registration is in there in a zip lock bag as well as a screwdriver with bits and small crescent wrench. I have it under my console near the fire extinguisher held in place with a bungee.

Take a picture of it and store it on your phone or scan it and keep a PDF version on your phone. I'm not sure if they will accept it, you can always call the office that handles these types of tickets. I'm sure you carry your phone with you? I like the comment above, attached to the fire ex. in a ziplock would be your best bet.

I vacuum seal mine in my FoodSaver, put it in the compartment under my seat.

The fishing is always great. The catching varies.

I keep mine in a zip lock bag and it goes in dry box with remote keys and such.

Keep mine in a freezer ziplock bag along with proof of insurance, in a dry box. Also keep a small assortment of tools, electrical tape, fuses, spare TM prop, and a cheap pair of jumper cables. That box has saved many a day for me and others.

Laminated and in the glove box along with insurance card, hard copy of my fishing license (in case the battery on my phone dies or it goes for a swim!) and some other crap. I have a separate box for spare fuses, light bulbs, tools and AA Batteries for the trolling motor remote. And a couple hair ties in case I'm out with the ladies and they need one. And a set of earplugs in case we're out swimming and someone needs a pair.

Proof of insurance is not required on a boat in Missouri.
Your choice to insure it or not. Best to choose to insure.

Keep mine in a ziplock in the console along with insurance and an extra copy of my fishing license. Last time I got checked for fishing license I was sitting on the ramp and my phone was in the boat, gave him my heritage card and drivers license and that worked just fine.
