    Default Tightlipped Mark Twain

Fished June 1 and 2nd Pretty breezy hard to fish The fish I caught were in about 10 feet of water some still had eggs hard fishing but big fish Averaged about one fish every 35-45 minutes 11 to 14 inches which is big fish for Mark Twain

Not to bad, sometimes I'd love to catch fish that fast. Nice fish even!

Thanks for the reply I just found it kind of odd Because I just didn’t get many bites I lost a couple each day that I had hooked but probably only got 2 or 3 bites a day that I didn’t catch

Thanks for the report. Were you using minnows or jigs?

Minnows and jigs but minnows worked better it sseemed like you had to leave the bait in position for like 1 to 2 minutes before they would bite

We fished MTL on Sunday May 30th. The fish were scattered just like you said. We did have some luck trolling RoadRunners very slow. 0.8 mph probably. The fish we caught were all very nice size.

That got us fired up for crankbait trolling this summer!
