Default Ozark - Summer Wave Breakers?

Curious of ya’ll’s opinions on summer crappie on deep water wave breakers. I’ve got a couple that I fish regularly in the summer that produce good numbers of nice crappie from late May through August. Usual suspended in really deep water around 10feet to 18ft of water.

Anyone else have any experience and luck with this technique as well? I only ask bc there is no info out there and I feel like I am the only one and want to share the love.

However, stay away from my breakers....lol!!

Default Ozark - Summer Wave Breakers?

    Ok now I’m curious.
What’s a wave breaker, to you?
How deep? 10-18 in how many FOW.

I have observed, tires used for wave breakers by marinas on my home lake.
Crappie like them esp around 50 degrees, I think they help warm the water.

You talking about a weir or like breaker walls for marinas anyway I will fish them previously stated if that’s where fish are.

Lol. I’m talking about a wave breaker that is part of the edge of a main channel condo dock. My particular spot is sitting in 30-60 feet of water on the good part and I catch them between 8-15ft of water song the breaker.

Like Breaker walls. I haven’t fished any yet except one that a buddy recommended. And this one is actually a giant break wall attached to one side of the dock facing the main channel. I was curious on others experience b4 I tried others in deep water in the summer.
