    Default LOZ 5/29

Sorry but didn’t take any pics.
The crank bite is pretty good right now. I had 14 keepers in a couple hours yesterday evening pulling off deep banks and points. I was catching 2-3 small fish (<10in) for every keeper and they preferred one specific bait/color. Of course it happened to be a bait that I only one - LOL. I caught 75% of the fish on this one bait. Was interesting considering I had several other types/brands similar in color which I tried but not productive. Caught a few NTS as well. Fun afternoon.
60-80 feet back 1.4-1.6 mph. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

    Thanks for the info.
I have been having similar success. I seem to be doing best in the channel in front of shallow spawning coves. I think they are transitioning to deeper water post spawn right now.
My most consistent colors have been Sun Perch and Chartruese Shad (Bandits). I catch them equally on 200 and 300 baits.
