Default Smithville - Went again yesterday early

I must be the only one fishing or posting?

I caught 15, Lisa 3 and Sadie 0 but Sadie did lick a few fish and makes a great hood ornament for the boat. Water warming quick, several areas over 70. Caught 3 on a rock bank as shallow and as close to the bank as you could get but the rest were in about 4 to 6 fow. All main lake between the bridges. Even a Joe fish, just larger version (whitebass)

Caught a few where Joe and I left them, but most were from another area, Joe’s secret tiny walleye spot. Joe couldn’t go with me two days straight - a little much to ask of anyone!

Size not as good as yesterday and caught lots of dinks but a couple of real nice ones. The few that had eggs, egggs were real runny.

Another fun day and lots of pics for ya!

Looks like you had the lake to your self.
I need to get back up to Smithville soon. Jet skied it once about 16 years ago, nice little lake.

I just got back from the lake. We had two limits before 740. We caught and released at least more limits of overs plus a pile of dinks. Mostly males in less than 3’ of water. Found a couple trees in 5-6’ that had a few fish. We never seen another boat this morning until we were heading back to the ramp

Great job. Good looking Brittany. I had one for several years. She was the smartest dog I’ve ever owned
