Default Longer Than I Planned on Fishing but it worked

Two Smithville limits with a bonus Eye.

Planned on the water 6:30 of by 9:30 due to weekend traffic but clouds and cold weather kept them away till noon time. We fished till about 11:30. Caught about 5 or 6 real shallow right on the bank off some rocks then went to a creek and caught a couple BUT not Joe he's different. He caught a perch, a couple white bass, a largemouth and two tiny walleye but no crappie. He said his second walleye was bigger, speaking of good eye he must have them cause I couldn't tell. Went back to the shallow rocks and caught a couple more - Joe still holding out for the late comeback.

Then finally we found a main lake area that held some fish and a bonus eye to finish our limits and ran for cover - lake lice cover. The surf boats were coming out rocking us.

That's how you do it Keefer! Now you know Joe does it differently, that's just how he rolls! Great day for sure and you have some males with their tux's on for sure from shallow. With a nice bonus eye too? that's great.

Nice looking catch there. Good job!
If we did what was most important in life there
would be a shortage of Bibles.................and fishing poles

That's a fine mess. The bonus eye is icing on the cake. Congrats on beating the crowds
