    Default LOZ 5/9-5/12

We have been primitive camping alot. Wife is wanting to go on a crappie camping trip for our 10yr anniversary and things are mega pie balled down here in SE Arkansas. I was wondering how things were going on LOZ. Was looking at the Linn Creek arm only because I have been there once and had pretty good luck. But would also like to actually camp on the bank of a clear cold water stream with rock bottom so kids can flip em and play with craw fish! Has the fishing been good recently on LOZ and is there a nearby place as mentioned above to primitive camp? Thanks in advance for any tips or advice!

Hope you find a place. I have not been on LOZ for some time since I moved. I hear that the bank bite is slowing way down so I imagine a person could find plenty trolling cranks on flats. Most of our cold clear streams lately are up and full of chocolate brown water do not know of a place close to LOZ. But check the MDC website for conservation areas by county some of them allow camping. One of them is Big Buffalo Creek Ca.
