I'd rather eat yellow perch than just about any fish except for bluegills. I love bluegill! We released all the perch caught, because I'm pretty sure their spawning right now. There isn't a huge population of them, but I'd like there to be.

Perch are in the walleye family so yeah, they eat really good. But congrats on the C&R! I didn't even know there were yellow perch in MO anywhere!

looks like fun for sure, most people dont know it but there is another lake in mo. that has some yellow perch, I have caught a few up the river on________ no way I'm telling which lake. Anyway good day looks like glad you and your kids got out and got a mess.
