Went back down Saturday with Les (grizwilson). Same pattern but a little slower maybe due to the sun. Still had a good day with 12 Crappie and 14 white bass. Had 1 nice 13-14 inch crappie as well of a hybrid about 6-7 pounds. Will followup with a picture of it will load.

Went back today and after two days of handling whites with cold wet hands, they hurt everywhere. The dang things either cut you scrape you or poke you every time you catch one. Oh the sacrifices we make....

Was this in the dead channel? I was wondering if the fish schooled up to feed in the winter like they do early spring when they are running water. I love catching white bass! They put up a darn good fight.

The dead water is the old river channel that remained after building the dam. If you look at the dam on a map the dead water is on the East away from the current side.
