    Red face Stockton

So I have been doing well at stockton for walleye the last few outings but I have only been to the lake 2-3 times so Monday 12-23 I thought I might try the crappie out started off late (long story) then could not find a place that sells minnows or at least that had any. So hit the water about noon at about 3 after finding shad, humps, structure ect not a bite so decided to try out the walleye as I was getting frustrated hooked up on 2 walleye (I give the rod over so kids can catch them) but the kiddos must have been watching some deep sea grouper fishing or something the night before on youtube as he was yanking the heck out of the line then leaving a monster amount of slack. Needless to say they got off but lets be honest its a fish not the end of the world so no big deal. Anyway all said and done got skunked seen some people at the ramp that caught a few said it was a tough day but they might have simply trying to make me feel better lol. It was still fun and the weather was great Ill figure that lake out at some point.

as of right now plan to hit bull shoals tomorrow unless my wife tosses a wrench in the ideal 12/26

At least you got the kids on fish, congrats. That's what I like about Stockton, you got a chance at crappie and walleye.

If we did what was most important in life there

Yea Crappie fishing is a bit different down this way lol I cant lie I miss mark twain a bit and really miss the river but Im starting to figure it out. Now the walleye and stripe bass fishing is fun I almost say walleye is about the same taste as crappie and the stripe bass are honestly the best fish I have ever ate. But still miss crappie how you all been
