Size: 49.5 KB Went fishing up at Mark Twain Lake Monday 12-23-19 with N2 Crappie. Caught a lot of fat crappie so now everyone want fresh crappie for Xmas dinner. Guess I will save the ham for a later date. The sun was out and the wind was down so it was a nice day to be out fishing. Water temperature was 40 degrees. No ice on the lake where we were. Checked back of coves where we caught them last time and nada. Seen a lot more boats out on the lake since the warm weather and people were probably off for the holiday. The only pattern we found was the fish were deeper from 12-20 feet deep. See all those big fat ones, those are the ones N2 Crappie caught. I caught all the skinny fish. I don't know why he likes to catch those bigger fat ones because he always has trouble hauling them in the boat. We had a good day and tossed back some 10" crappie. Did catch three nice crappie off the bridge piers where last time we caught none. No none target fish for me today.

    Looking good Mark!
I'll smoke just about anything (in my smoker)
The fishing is always great. The catching varies.
