    Default Smithville Sunday

Hit the lake at daybreak, started at the bridge, got a couple, finished off on brushpiles. Electric chicken was the best color, got a limit but took awhile. Saw keeferfish and joedog out there today, don't know how that ended up.
    Well that's my two ducks

Kevin charged me $50.00 just to fish beside him - well worth it I guess?

We only managed 9 in our time out there but the weather was fantastic.

Saw a couple guys that must've been bluegill fishing cuz they would drop down and within 10 seconds would reel up a crappie and then they would CHUCK it 25-40 feet away from their boat! They must've done that with at least a dozen or so fish in the space of five minutes. Told Bill to move the boat over there and open the livewell!!

Good seeing you out there Kevin. And, as always, good fishin' with ya Bill. Good times!

Dang Joe those are some stiff fees, but I guess Bill has to pay for that new motor somehow, money just don't grow on trees ( sorry about the tree reference ). Nobody gets off free, those 2 ducks been hanging around the ramp for about a month, putting a hurtin' on my cracker stash. Good to see you guys out on the water and glad you got some fish.
