    so you were not dock shooting but using a slip rig along side and not under? good to know that still works too.

    Long jigging pole works wonders to reach the shaded areas and if there is any current you can get the cork to float under the docks sometimes. When the cork hits the shade it usually goes under if the fish are stacked up. I always have a jig rigged up to dock shoot this time of year but I slip cork more often.
