    Default Mark Twain was good

Not great as patterns that were producing fish even day before changed. Piers were lot of dinks only a couple good ones. Trees were good fish or 2 then nothing so constant hunting for next one. 8 good ones first afternoon and lots shorts w big wind conditions
Saw a couple fishing around where we were, 107 put in, then at fish cleaning station they had 20 fish better than ours. As those that know me I struck up conversation and they gave me 411 on how and where they gotrdone. Plus gave us 5 dozen active minnows as they were leaving so productive visit.

We went to places they suggested and we saw them at and did much better next morning which dawned spitting lil rain but calm conditions which quickly cleared up to perfect day. Fish didn't want any movement, straight down to bottom and reel it up slowly. Used jig on bottom w minnows 18 inches up. Blk/chartreuse 1/8 mr joker. 14 and 13 inch fish hit jig rest on minnow. Ended w 12 and left noon. We played it forward gave minnows to guys going out without. Still had couple dozen
    Good day with buddy.

Mark you know how painfully shy I am but if breaking out of my shell means more crappie in the boat. Make it so!
