Default LOTO Fishing Report 9/13/19 weekend

Me a a bunch of my buddies absolutely crushed the Crappie this weekend. Probably averaged about a 10.5inch average for keepers. The 5 of us caught over 100 keepers in 1.5 to 2 days of fishing.

We caught almost most all of them on condo docks in 20-40 feet of water around 10-12 feet down in hanging dock structure on live minnows.

We we were fishing on condo docks on the 21mm in the Red Head Marina cove.

Hope this helps some of ya’ll out there.

Sounds like a good get together with the buddies. Were you in a boat or just fishing from the dock?

That sounds like a fish fry is coming soon! Good job!
If we did what was most important in life there
would be a shortage of Bibles.................and fishing poles

It was all from the dock in the slips. My fishing boat is getting worked on right now so I couldn’t use it.

when we had a nice place on 6 mile cove best thing about stepdad's several boats was having cedar at every point on the 4 slips. loved to go out and pick up a bunch of crappie in morning then back out at night as a covey of crappie would move in. Favorite type of fishing. Sounds like a great weekend with your boys.

Hdhntr, yeah it was a crazy weekend. When you keep running out of minnows that is a very good thing. The bite was very weird the whole weekend. Some times hitting on the way down, sometimes a very light pre bite then just barley bigger second bite, occasional hammer bite.

I guess i am going to need to hit up these deep condo docks ALOT more often. The docks were in 20-45 feet of water, and all the fish were hanging in the 10-12foot range around hanging structure in the slips.

My dock is too shallow for most of Summer at 8-13ft deep. (Even with all the structure I have)

This weekend just made me soooo happy!!! There is nothing like holding the rod with a jog or minnow and not only expecting consistent bites but actually getting those bites time after time after time. I was one giddy dude!!!
