Default 4th weekend Fishing Report LOTO

Crappie around the Grand Glaize was scattered and not good as usual. I did manage to catch a couple of nice ones over 12 inches Thursday morning around deep main points and the GYG bridge but still disappointing this year as usual. Our dock wasn’t much better.

However, I decided to go fish with a friend Saturday morning on the Niangua arm. WTF!!! I only fish for a couple hours in the morning but caught about 15 Crappie with 5 nice keepers. I haven’t caught anything near that in the GG Recently.

Why would a section of the lake only 14 miles away be so much more active and close to what I am used to?

Anyone have an answer as to why it was so much better? Because it is really really pissing me off. 😡😡😡

Maybe the flowing water helps. Less flow and shallower water in the GG.

Answer to the first question is because there are more fish feeding there. Answer to second question to come is because there is more bait there. Answer to the
third question to come is I don't know.
    Tell'em I'll be there.
