Default Me, Crappie Joe, Two Limits, and a Funny Looking Fish LOZ 05/20/2019

I started bass fishing at the crack of dawn and did pretty good throwing a Croc O Gator buzzbait around main lake points. After lunch Crappiejoe12 and I teamed up trolling crank baits and got two crappie limits fairly quick once we found them. Best color was chartreuse trolled at about 1.3 to 1.6 mph. One crappie must have been 1/4 gizzard shad b/c I've never seen one quite like this. Funny looking for sure.

Your water looks better than where I was at on LOZ. Had little luck jigging docks as well as pulling cranks... but when I got back to the dock, I tossed a crank and a jig toward the shore - caught 7-8 nice ones in a fraction of the time I was out on the water!

Is that lake close to a nuclear plant?

Congrats on the double limit, and that's one ugly fish. What's next Asian crappie?
