Several gates open waters running fast, so hard to find good place to dish from the shore. Had better luck with a boat. Name: IMG_56591.jpg

Cooper creek kept rising through the night Monday.
Didn't see any shad floating to really mention.
Coral color 1/80 jig above a "shiner fly",or gray colors of small flies.
Shiner fly looked like a streamer with a shiny piece of sparkling colored streamer extending no more than 3/8 0f an inch beyond hackles.
    No weight on it.
Set up beneath slip bobber with 3' leader, stopper set at 10 to 12 feet above bobber.
1/8 to 3/8 oz. bottom bouncer weights at point of leader attachment
Go to wire in trophy area and float with the flow down from there.
Watch your bobbers go down or they will go down slowly, appearing as if,(and they do),are swimming upstream.
As morning progressed, bite slowed down and bites were not as agressive.
Everytime up by the wire crossing below dam, always a bite immediately.

We normally dont mess with taking a boat down just for the fact its supper easy and great for kids on the dock plus its covered if rain sets in. I try my best not to keep any but using power bait a lot get hooked deep and as you know they are quick to die on ya. We have only caught 2 browns and both where caught actually on bull shoals but they where a few in. to small not sure if that lake has the same rules or not but didnt want to find out the hard way
