    Default Smithville report 5/11

Put in at W and went up, fished mainly Lynn Creek on the banks, got 6 keepers and a few shorts, water temp was 62, all about 3' off the bank. Nice rainy morning to try out some new rain gear, got a Helley Hansen jacket and Grundens paints, best rain gear I ever had!! Name: 20190511_143820.jpg

Hey quit clowning around doing test runs on that rain gear and get back to fishing!! Great to see you at camp and you getting a nice dinner!

Yes nothing like having good rain gear and this year it is so important as it seems like it rains every dang day.

Thanks Keith, always good to see you at camp. Rain gear got a little bit of slime and some nibble stains on it, now I would like to pack it in the boat and not pull em back out, these daily cold fronts and rain is making fishing tuff, next week looking a little better. Good to hear from you Dave, hope you are feeling better, miss talking with you at camp.

Fish look good. With all this rain it really tells you whether your rain protection is any good. Mine checked out bad on a heavy down pour.
